Culture of Empathy in Digital Age Schools
Wednesday, January 18th 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET
Join us in an online
conversation with Dr. Devorah Heitner, author of Screenwise: Helping Kids Thrive (and
Survive) in their Digital World, as we explore the role of empathy in our
digital communities. Participants will think critically about current
approaches to digital citizenship in schools and examine the social and
emotional impact social media can have on our students. This online
professional development event will also address many of our students' most
pressing challenges with friendship in the digital age, such as fears of
missing out and anonymity.
