Benchmarks for Admissions

December 24, 2001
Patrick F. Bassett

Each year, NAIS gathers statistics on independent schools, including admissions and development data. In the table below, you will see the average data for all schools (made available on the NAIS website www.nais.org  for anyone to see). Additionally, administrators at NAIS schools have access on the NAIS website to STATSonline, where they can see the National and Regional Tables, with more extensive data and data segregated by school type, school size, and geographic region. School administrators who have completed STATSonline data entry also have access to STATSonline to create customized data reports, choosing to compare one's school to whatever other schools are most similar.
