Serving independent school administrators, boards, associations, and diversity professionals by offering state of the art diversity programs and services for building and sustaining inclusive school communities.

NAIS fosters within itself, models, and encourages among its member schools and the community-at-large a spirit of trust, communication, and mutual respect built upon ethical behavior.

• We empower staff through opportunities for shared leadership and professional development. Through teamwork, we draw from the diverse skills and perspectives of each individual to achieve our greatest potential.
• We support and value leaders of all backgrounds and experiences. We inspire schools to nurture leaders from the broadest range of society.
• We ensure, through research and planning, that we continually discover and respond to the needs of all our customers. We commit significant resources to research that guides customers' strategic planning in regard to societal demographic change.
• We take equal responsibility for assessing and effectively responding to each customer's needs. All customers deserve and receive respectful and diligent service.
• Our mission guides our work. We revisit our mission to ensure it reflects our obligation to protect and advance equity and justice for all.
