SLI is an intensive, three-day residential program that will help you better understand your own leadership style and identify your strengths as well as areas for growth in five key facets of independent school leadership.

The Teaching Foundations program is designed to support the growth and success of all teachers—particularly those in their early years at independent schools—by focusing on foundational areas of teaching.

The Associate Level coursework is designed to hone the trainee's ability to provide diagnostic and prescriptive instruction in a one-to-one remedial setting. In addition, it exposes the trainee to more sophisticated levels of language instruction than can be provided in the Classroom Educator course.

This two-day, in-person program will center collective dialogue, offering white educators the opportunity to reflect on and process how they are experiencing—emotionally and somatically—this rise in global, national, and local conflict. Participants will also consider the ways that white supremacy culture prevents us from breaking our silence and stepping into conflict with curiosity and humility. Participants will learn from one another through collective wisdom and will gain concrete strategies and frameworks to support their work moving forward.

This two-day summer institute is designed to take you on a journey through transformative professional design and facilitation experiences. Drawing upon research-informed practices, transformational adult learning theory, Universal Design for Learning, and liberatory design, The Design Lab provides a unique opportunity to revitalize your meeting ideas, opening week workshops, professional learning days, or any other gathering.

The retreat is specifically designed for senior leadership teams. Through theory and practice, group activities, and facilitated discussions, participants will explore practical strategies for building stronger connections, enhancing collaboration, and creating a culture of trust and accountability within the team. The retreat will also provide effective practices for decision-making as well as vision and goal setting for the school year.
