Doing More with Less

This article provides an overview of current challenges facing schools in managing aid budgets. Based on discussions among financial aid and admissions professionals attending the 2002 Essex Institute on enrollment management for independent schools and the author's study of financial aid practices among boarding schools, it also provides key insights on how to design solutions using financial modeling.
