Modeling Instruction is a guided-inquiry approach to teaching science that organizes instruction around a coherent storyline of model development. This method provides content instruction while students are immersed in the process of doing science and involves extensive use of whiteboard and student-led discussion.

Kick off your summer with this interactive workshop on value, time, and project management featuring Andrew Davis, a head of school and practitioner of multiple productivity and time management tools. Over the course of two 150-minute sessions and follow-up Q&As, you will learn and, importantly, put into practice, strategies for work efficiency.

Hotchkiss and U. Chicago will host a workshop on open discourse for secondary school teachers. The program will help teachers encourage open dialogue in the classroom, as well as techniques for confronting controversial topics.
