Efficiency: Ensuring every dollar provides maximum benefit to students To support the excellent learning that goes on in independent school classrooms, there must also be efficient administration that ensures a school's future and the best use of tuition and donor dollars. Likewise, at NAIS, we invest your member dues in products and services that best serve your school.

In the spirit of this core value, we are focusing our resources in the following areas:

Data

• Data and Analysis for School Leadership (DASL) is the independent school community's tool for collecting and using data to make smart school decisions. Benchmarking can help schools evaluate, set goals, and run more efficiently.

Community and Informational Resources

• Member schools learn from one another about good and efficient practices. The NAIS Principles of Good Practice spell out standards of best practice in use at schools. The NAIS Connect online communities provide a venue for schools to discuss policies and practices in more depth.  
• Legal advisories, research, and other resources on the NAIS website can help schools operate efficiently and in compliance with the law.

Professional and Leadership Development

• We provide in-person and virtual development opportunities to help individuals build the knowledge and experience needed to bring efficiency and best practice to their campuses.
