John “Jack” Creeden is former chair of the NAIS board of trustees and is the author of NAIS’s The Board Chair Handbook. For nearly 30 years, he served as a head of school and was most recently head of the Whitby School in Greenwich, Connecticut. He now consults on board governance, cross-cultural competence, and international school accreditation.
