Gabby McHale Educational Consultants

Gabby McHale is a highly regarded independent-school admissions and placement leader who has spent more than 20 years helping schools and families make thoughtful, student-centered enrollment decisions. She served as Director of Student Placement at The Center for Early Education, Director of Admissions at Brentwood School, and Director of Admissions at Milken Community High School. In those roles, she developed extensive experience in admissions leadership, student assessment, family communication, school transitions, and the cultivation of strong relationships across the Los Angeles independent-school community. Today, through Gabby McHale Educational Partners, Gabby helps families look beyond reputation or familiarity to identify learning environments that genuinely fit a child’s strengths, interests, personality, and needs. She guides school research, applications, interviews, assessments, campus engagement, decision-making, advocacy, and waitlist strategy with a combination of institutional insight and individualized care. Gabby earned a master’s degree in Private School Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. She is completing UCLA Extension’s College Counseling Certificate Program, expected in 2028.
