IFSEL Online Course: Advisory Design for Implementing Student-Centered Advisory Programs

Advisory is most powerful when it reflects a school’s mission and SEL values. This 2x2-hour-session interactive course helps leaders and educators clarify their advisory “North Star,” evaluate what’s working, and design structures that fit their context. Participants will explore time, grouping, lesson flow, and scope and sequence, while building systems that support advisor well-being, training, and buy-in. You’ll leave with renewed clarity of program vision and design, adaptable strategies, and practical tools to align advisory with your whole-community approach to SEL, well-being, and belonging.
