About the Event

The speaker for this session is Nina Shiffrin Starin, a psychologist and director of research at Alvord Baker & Associates who has over 15 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for children, teens, and adults. She completed her post-baccalaureate fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health researching youth with anxiety and depression. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Yale University. She uses evidence-based skills and a genuine style to help patients gain comfort in facing uncomfortable situations and to build confidence. She loves helping guide college students and adults through transitions. She is passionate about helping parents learn to manage their children’s challenging behaviors and support them through their anxiety.
