Learn More About the Leadership Academy
Sponsorships opportunities are available for the following events:
- School Leadership Institute (June 23-26, 2026; Emory Conference Center Hotel, Atlanta, GA): SLI is designed to bring together individuals who lead in some capacity at their schools, most often in formal administrative roles within the instructional program (department chairs, grade-level leaders, deans, etc.) and the full spectrum of functional domains (admissions, advancement, diversity and inclusion, communications, etc.).
- Institute for New Heads (July 11-17, 2026; Emory Conference Center Hotel, Atlanta, GA): INH is designed for individuals who are about to start, or have just completed, their first or second year as head of school.
- Aspiring Heads Institute (July 20–July 24, 2026; NAIS Headquarters, Washington, DC): AHI, which is part of the yearlong Fellowship for Aspiring School Heads, is designed for independent school administrators who are seriously considering headship in the next few years or educators who want to expand their understanding of headship and deepen their leadership practice.
- Diversity Leadership Institute (July 26-31, 2026; Emory Conference Center Hotel, Atlanta, GA): DLI is designed for independent school leaders who have direct responsibility for their community’s diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs; faculty and staff (with or without related titles) who plan, support, coordinate, and execute diversity and inclusion programs; educators, including classroom teachers, who wish to increase their effectiveness working with students and adults in diverse settings; student support staff, deans of faculty, global and international education practitioners; and all who care about the health and well-being of their school communities.
- Leadership Through Partnership (October 22-23, 2026; NAIS Headquarters, Washington, DC): LTP is designed to offer foundational governance support to heads and their board chairs.
