Cory Becker-KimCory Becker-Kim, International Student Program Director, SEVIS PDSO, and Advanced Language and Culture Teacher, Mounds Park Academy, St. Paul, MN  

Cory is the current international student program director at Mounds Park Academy (MPA) in St. Paul, Minnesota. MPA is an independent pre-K–12 school located in the Twin Cities area. Cory has been in this position for over 6 years. He has held a variety of roles in education in his career, highlighted by teaching English abroad in both mainland China and South Korea for a combined 6½ years as well as working in higher education as an assistant director of admissions. Cory lives with his wife, Jieun, and their 2½-year-old son, Caden, in St. Paul, MN.

Cortney DowdleCortney Dowdle, Director of Admission and Enrollment Management, and SEVIS PDSO, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, Rabun Gap, GA  

Cortney has worked in education for over 12 years, at both the university and the secondary school levels. Serving on both the support services side and the enrollment management side has given her a unique perspective on supporting students in the admissions and enrollment processes. Cortney feels that Rabun Gap is the perfect place for her, both professionally and personally. She loves Rabun Gap’s diversity and unique learning environment for all students and especially for international students from around the world. She also loves living in the mountains. Having the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains so close means endless hiking opportunities. Cortney loves traveling the world and seeing new places, spending time with her dog, Harrison, and jogging in her spare time.

Brian GonzalesBrian Gonzales, Director of Innovation and Experiential Education, University Prep School, Seattle, WA  

Brian joined UPrep in 2015 as the director of global programs and now serves as the director of innovation and experiential education, leading the school’s portfolio of global, outdoor, and innovation and technology programs. Prior to his move to Seattle, Brian lectured at the University of Texas at Austin, led his own sport for international development consulting business, spent a decade living and working across the U.S. and around the world, and taught history at The Episcopal School of Dallas. He holds an M.A. in international educational development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.A. in history and international studies from Rhodes College.  

Patricia MarshallPatricia Marshall, Superintendent, Colegio Franklin D. Roosevelt, The American School of Lima, Lima, Peru  

Patricia (Patti) has worked in international independent schools for over 30 years as a middle and high school teacher, division principal, curriculum director, associate head of school, and head of school. Patti enjoys building aligned “one school” communities by bringing teams, departments, and stakeholders together to advance mission-driven teaching and learning and developing strategic plans for school improvement. In this work, Patti has enjoyed building cohesive school systems and coaching aspiring and emerging leaders. She encourages them to pursue their passion for leading and building student-centered schools while learning to enjoy reaching beyond academic life and embracing the business of school leadership, including governance, policy, finance, and advancement models. Patti and her family have lived, studied, and worked in Colombia, the U.S., Guatemala, and Peru. She is a CASE Laureate, board member of AMISA, member of AAIE, and a proud member of NAIS.

Phillip MouldsPhillip Moulds, Headmaster, The Rockhampton Grammar School, Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia

Phillip has been the headmaster of The Rockhampton Grammar School since 2010. He is passionate about educating students to be the best people they can be, developing leadership within schools (governance, students, teachers, school leaders), teaching and learning, global education, rural and regional education, emerging technologies (e.g., Gen AI), and school-based change.

Before joining The Rockhampton Grammar School, Phillip worked at Brisbane Grammar School for 18½ years, where he held a variety of positions including deputy headmaster, deputy head of boarding, head of science, and head of chemistry. Also, for 14 years, Phillip worked as an instructor for the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University WIDE World online programs in the areas of educational leadership and using data to inform learning.

Phillip earned his Ph.D. in Education from The University of Queensland, investigating the planning, teaching, and assessment of higher-order thinking processes and dispositions. He holds a Bachelor of Educational Studies with First Class Honours, Postgraduate Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Music, all from The University of Queensland.

Phillip has been a member of the Independent Schools Queensland Board for the past 9 years, was chair of the Education Subcommittee for 5 years, and became board chair in 2023. He is also a board member of the Independent Schools Australia Board and a member of its Remuneration and Nominations Committee. He is a graduate of the AICD Directors Course and has served on the Anglicare Central Queensland Board and the Board of the Australian Boarding Schools Association. In 2022 Phillip was awarded an OAM for Services to Secondary Education.

Jeremy RobbinsJeremy Robbins, Director of Experiential Learning, Windham Woods School, Windham, NH  

Jeremy is an educational leader with 25 years of experience in independent boarding and day schools. He has served as head of school, program director, and faculty leader, guiding mission-driven institutions through growth and transformation. His expertise spans experiential and outdoor education, strategic advancement, faculty development, and supporting neurodiverse learners. At Windham Woods School, Jeremy designs innovative outdoor learning spaces, leads integrated cross-disciplinary and career-based programs, and advances professional training initiatives. He holds graduate degrees in leadership, historic preservation, and education, and is pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of New Hampshire with research focused on career and technical education pathways in nature-based settings.
