Two interwoven priorities define the Choate experience: a rigorous academic curriculum and an emphasis on the formation of character in a residential setting that allows for teachers and students to live with and learn from each other in important ways. Whether students choose to immerse themselves in our core academic program or one of our eight signature programs – Arts Concentration, Science Research, Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies, Capstone, Environmental Immersion, the JFK Program in Government and Public Service, Advanced Robotics, or Study Abroad – Choate provides the opportunity to explore existing interests and passions as well as discover new ones.
