The Independent Day School MIssion: By knowing students deeply both as individuals and learners, IDS inspires a community of independent thinkers who are resilient and confident to take risks as they connect with others in the joyful pursuit of learning. Our motto "Fearless Learning" plays out every day at IDS. We offer students ages 3-14 learning opportunities, constructed and facilitated by expert teachers, to engage in expansive, active learning within an environment that supports collaboration and personal excellence. Our everyday focus on social-emotional development goes hand-in-hand with instruction.
