The Kew-Forest School is an intimate PS-12 co-educational day school in Forest Hills, NY. We are small by design and globally representative. Founded in 1918, Kew-Forest provides a safe, nurturing, and intellectually rigorous environment that inspires students to explore creative interests, apply courageous and innovative thinking, and become ethical contributors to an ever-widening world. Our identity rests on two core pillars: our astonishing diversity and our small, intimate community. We are proud to enroll a student body that reflects the rich cultural tapestry of Queens - the nation's most diverse county. Our families hail from over 60 countries, speak more than 30 languages at home, and represent the vibrant mosaic of New York City. This diversity is made possible by our deep commitment to financial aid. At The Kew-Forest School, we do more than educate; we inspire. We develop the skills necessary for success in higher education and instill the essential competencies of a responsible, global citizen. Kew-Forest prohibits discrimination in any form, as we believe that an inclusive community is fundamental to unlocking the unique potential of every child. As an International Baccalaureate candidate school* for the PYP and MYP, our commitment to intercultural learning - with an emphasis on collaboration, agency, and inquiry - ensures our students develop into leaders and community members who are a force for good in the world. *Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes visit International Education
