Lake Forest Academy, located about 30 miles north of Chicago on 140 wooded acres, is a coeducational, college-preparatory, boarding and day school enrolling 430 students in grades 9-12. The school adheres to high academic standards, with challenging course work taught by dedicated, supportive faculty. Small classes, computer technology throughout the disciplines, and Advanced Placement courses are features of the curriculum. All-school meetings, a strong advisory system, and English as a Second Language for international students enrich the LFA experience. Among the extracurricular options are drama, instrumental and vocal groups, interest clubs, and 22 interscholastic sports.
