The Saklan School is a Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade Independent School offering small class sizes and one class per grade level. Saklan's mission is to challenge students to THINK creatively, ACT compassionately and LIVE courageously. Since 1954, Saklan has offered a well-rounded education with Foreign Language, Music, Science, Physical Education and Art classes taught at every grade level. In addition, public speaking, leadership skills, experiential learning and teamwork are integrated into our curriculum. The Saklan School also focuses on emotional resilience building through the use of Project Happiness curriculum. The Saklan School offers Summer @ Saklan, a summer camp program for ages 3-11 with culture and language enrichment in the mornings and summer fun in the afternoons. The Saklan School is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Bus transportation is available.
