Making Hotel Reservations

Hotel registration will open with conference registration in September. Hotel reservations will be handled by our registration and housing partner, Maritz Global Events. Please do not contact the hotel directly. Discounted rates can only be obtained by reserving through Maritz. NAIS is unable to move reservations made outside the block into the block or to adjust the room rates quoted by the hotels directly. Below is a list of hotels within the NAIS block. More hotels may be added later.

ALERT! NAIS will never reach out to attendees and exhibitors directly to book hotel rooms. We work exclusively with Maritz to handle our conference and housing registrations. If you receive calls from any third-party vendor, we strongly advise that you do not give these solicitors any personal information. Find more information below.

Getting to Boston

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)

The airport is approximately three (3) miles from the Seaport District, where the convention center and host hotels are located. Travel time typically ranges from 10–20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and the mode of transportation.

Ground transportation to/from the airport:

  • Public transit: The most convenient and cost-effective way to travel from Boston Logan International Airport to the Seaport District is via the MBTA Silver Line (SL1). The SL1 provides free service from all airport terminals and drops passengers in the heart of the Seaport District, including a stop at the World Trade Center, inapproximately 10–15 minutes.
  • Rideshare (Uber/Lyft): Travel time is typically 10–20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Fares generally range from $25–$40. Follow the airport's designated rideshare pick-up signs upon arrival.
  • Taxi: A quick and direct option, with travel times typically around 10–15 minutes. Metered fares generally range from $20–$30, plus gratuity. Taxis are readily available outside the baggage claim and arrivals levels.
  • Water taxi: A scenic and unique way to travel across the harbor. Services such as Rowes Wharf Water Transport and Boston Water Taxi operate between the airport dock and various locations in the Seaport District. Fares typically range from $10–$15 per person.

ALERT: Housing and List Buying Scam

Large conferences and events often become targets for companies seeking to take advantage of the attendees. Some of our members have reported that they’ve been contacted by third-party companies for several reasons, including offering to sell our attendee list to them.

NAIS does not sell the attendee list for our conferences to any third-party companies or list brokers. These solicitations are simply an attempt to confirm your email address and get your credit card information. We are working with our legal representation to combat this issue.

In addition, there are several third-party companies that have contacted members and exhibitors to book hotel accommodations through their companies.

These third-party “pirate” companies create websites and email solicitations offering special discounted hotel rooms for other associations’ meetings. They use web domain names and email addresses that look like the official versions for the conference. Often, these discounted rooms do not exist. The primary objective of this solicitation is to obtain your credit card information.

Maritz Global Events is our exclusive housing provider. NAIS has no affiliation with any other company and cannot guarantee rates or accommodations made through these companies. All correspondence received from Maritz regarding housing for Gather 2026 will come from NAIS@maritz.com

If you have any doubt about the information that you are receiving regarding Gather 2026, please call us at (202) 973-9700 or contact us through our Help Center.
