Coaches' Corner

Have a school-based issue you’re grappling with? Ready to reflect on your personal and professional journey? Working with a certified coach can be an important tool in your toolkit. NAIS is offering you that time to discuss and process your experiences with certified coaches at our Gather 2026 and Thrive 2027 conferences.

Attendees can sign up for free 45-minute sessions with educator-focused coaches and others who are trained to listen, ask powerful questions, and create a space for reflection.

Are you interested in serving as a coach this year?

Coaching sessions will be offered at Gather (December 2–4, 2026, in Boston, MA) and Thrive (March 3–5, 2027, in Baltimore, MD). 

Certified coaches are invited to apply to provide 45-minute pro bono coaching sessions to conference participants. You are welcome to apply to coach at either conference or both. Please complete and submit your application by Friday, August 28.

Expectations for coaches: 

  • Register for the conference. 
  • A code providing 25% off the registration fee will be provided upon acceptance. Discounts off registration cannot be combined.
  • Provide scheduled 45-minute individual coaching sessions for conference attendees.

For Attendees 

Are you a planning to be a Gather or Thrive attendee and have an interest in participating in a coaching session while at the conference? You will be able to sign up through the NAIS website or the conference app later this year. Walk-ins will also be considered on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available.
