Alexis Wiggins has worked as a middle school and high school English teacher in independent schools in the U.S. and international schools in Spain, Hong Kong, and Qatar. She currently consults for Authentic Education, working with schools to create a more collaborative teaching and learning environment, and volunteers with the Afghan Women’s Writing Project, which educates young Afghan women and helps them earn scholarships to study at American independent schools and universities.
