2020 NAIS Institute for New Heads

INH has prepared more than 1,000 new heads of school for successful leadership transitions over the last decade. Join their ranks today by registering for this five-day residential program that will prepare you for the first or second year of headship. At INH, you’ll acquire an understanding of your leadership style, gain practical knowledge, demystify the head experience, and build a strong peer network.

INH is designed for individuals who are about to start, or have just completed, their first or second year as head of school.
Led by an esteemed faculty, INH will focus on the following key topics:

- Practical Leadership
- Culture and Mission
- Building Your Team
INH provides exposure to the fundamentals of school governance, finance, legal issues, diversity initiatives, and development.

Accommodations and all meals at the Emory Conference Center Hotel are included. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Emory Conference Center.

2019 INH Agenda
Plan to arrive in Atlanta by Monday afternoon (July 6), as the program will begin that evening. The closing ceremony will be Saturday night (July 11), with participants departing on Sunday morning.
: From beginning to end, all parts of this program work together to build on one another and missing any portion would not provide the intended experience.
