John Palfrey is head of school at Phillips Academy (Andover, Massachusetts). He serves on the board of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and chairs the board of the Digital Public Library of America. He is the coauthor of Born Digital: Understanding the First Generation of Digital Natives (Basic Books, 2008).
