About Independent Ideas

Since its inception in 2015, Independent Ideas has been a forum to explore the more granular dimensions of big-picture topics and themes covered in Independent School magazine.

The blog nurtures a diverse community of voices from school leaders, educators, researchers, and administrators looking to examine the complex challenges independent schools face. Blogs tell a story—often personal—and explore a broad range of topics, including leadership; teaching and learning; health and well-being; and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
